The Journey Begins
Founded in Lagos with a single cargo truck.
Babajide Olatunji founded Dimex Group with a clear vision: to establish a reliable, customer-centric transportation company. Operating with a single flatbed truck, we focused on short-haul freight distribution within the Lagos-Ibadan industrial axis.
Expanding Fleet & Warehousing
Expanded fleet to 50+ trucks and opened our first transit warehouse.
Responding to growing client demand, we expanded our fleet to over 50 trucks and established a major transit warehouse in Ibadan. This allowed us to consolidate shipping, store import-export cargo, and offer regional logistics support.
Multimodal Logistics Integration
Integrated rail freight and seaport shipping capabilities.
To bypass rising road freight costs and bottlenecks, Dimex Group pioneered custom rail-freight linkages and ocean cargo forwarding capabilities, facilitating seamless connection between the Lagos sea ports and dry ports inland.
Air Cargo & Supply Chain Tracking
Launched air charter services and digitized operations.
We launched dedicated air freight charters for time-critical electronics and medical cargo. Concurrently, we launched our digital tracking portal, allowing customers real-time GPS visibility over their overland cargo.
